Foreword
• Welcoming of the
French Squash Federation
With 250 players, the French Junior Open records the widest
participation of its history.
Such a success, the result of fourteen years of existence, has
been made possible thanks to the mobilization of the Set squash
of Marseille.
It would also be proper to very cordially thank the Town of
Marseille and the General Council of “Bouches-du-Rhône” as well
as all the volunteers who, once more, enable this event to
remain a milestone in the European squash calendar.
Jacques FONTAINE
President of the French Squash Federation
• Welcoming of the
Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur Squash League
The PACA
league is proud to welcome one of the major tournaments on the
Junior European Circuit, in one of the most dynamic clubs in our
region, especially regarding its policy with young players.
There’s no doubt the team of organisers in Set Squash Marseilles
– also club of France’s best player: Thierry Lincou – will match
all the expectations as such an important event in terms of
competition just as well as everything that goes with it.
I would already like to congratulate all my friends’ organisers
for the quality of their work, and thank both the “Conseil
Régional”, and the “Conseil Général” for their support.
To all of you players, coaches, families…
Welcome to Provence,
And welcome to Marseilles for the 6th year.
Patrick FRIBOURG
President of the PACA league
